DOM360 Careers: Marketing Director



The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the team charged with developing and implementing all efforts associated with the Company’s image and brand. The individual in this role will coordinate assignments and needs with all departments and employees of the Company as needed. This individual leads the Company’s Marketing team in all areas including: recruiting, training, mentoring, coaching, career planning and employee development. This position represents the department on the Company’s leadership team and interactions with third parties.


Responsibilities will focus primarily on Company identity, branding and marketing externally, and employee identification, growth and development internally. The individual in the role will have excellent time management skills and will be detail-oriented which will allow the Marketing team to flawlessly execute and collaborate with our internal teams and third parties.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Lead the development of the marketing and branding strategy for the Company

  • Collaborate with other groups both externally and within the organization to understand and address needs and spur growth and new opportunities

  • Leverage technology and process innovation for continuous improvement

  • Generation and distribution of at least one newsletter each month

  • Grow our website, including adding new content pages as needed

  • Prepare sales deck presentations and speaker session materials/presentations

  • Establish and manage SEM digital media budget

  • Help coordinate RFP responses with Account Services, Creative and New Business

  • Produce ads for Automotive News publication as directed

  • Lead optimization of DOM360’s online presence in all third-party DOM360 accounts: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blogging, event postings, announcements, etc.

  • Working with the Development Team, assist with the DOM360 tool, including internal and external sales and productizing, development of marketing materials, positioning, generation of press releases, proper weaving of into our web presence, etc.

  • Trade Show planning, preparation, all things trade show – attending when possible as a representative of DOM360

  • Establish and manage trade show budgets

  • Act as the primary contact for search consultants

  • Filling out and submitting speaker applications including generating the decks for the CEO

  • Press releases – Lead this effort for DOM360, coordinating with Copywriting team and the CEO

  • Working with the DOM360 Account Services team, pursuit of new business opportunities with existing clients

  • Help DOM360 gain greater market share through a strong brand awareness

  • Manage DOM360’s marketing automation (Sharp Spring)

  • Responsible for ordering and managing promotional merchandise

  • Other duties/projects as assigned


  • Recruiting, hiring and retention of Marketing Department employees

  • Continual training and development of staff members

  • Development of positive departmental culture that aligns with Company’s values

  • Mentor Marketing team members to ensure effective and consistent branding of all work

  • Foster open communications between departments

  • Strategic business partner representing Marketing on Company’s leadership team


  • BS in Marketing or Communications preferred, or related field of study – or combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing in online media or advertising, leading a team

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving experience to assist in the implementation of strategies and solutions

  • Expert knowledge of online advertising technologies and terminology

  • Strong attention to detail required

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines (possibly working late hours and/or weekends as needed)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google docs

  • Google Adwords certified is a plus

  • Experience with SharpSpring  and Key Note a plus

  • Experience with Facebook ad manager a plus
