This year is NADA 100, the 100th anniversary of this convention and what an exciting time in the automotive industry, in New Orleans at that. In such a historic city, there is so much to take in. It can be overwhelming, exhausting and crazy all at the same moment. So, we have prepared our ready list to get the most out of NADA100 this year and enjoy all the little things too!

Top 10 Ready List:

1. Have a copy of all the sessions, either the NADA100 app or a print out.

These are often in your welcome bags, but just in case. You don't want to miss out on a great session, so plan ahead, map out the sessions you want to attend and have it handy at the show.

2. Keep your day full of variety.

Speaking of sessions- a word of advice. Don’t plan all the same topic the same day. We’ve heard the stories in the past where “Today I'm going to go to all digital marketing sessions and see what everyone is doing great out there.” By noon, you cannot think for yourself and run for the hills, or the French Quarter.

3. Know the expo hall layout.

With so many vendors, it can become mission impossible. It's best to plan ahead for each day, and tackle what you are looking for most. The thought of visiting all the booths, finding out who has what new product, new innovation, new tech or just a new company in general can be tiresome in itself. Save yourself the headache and take a peek at the Expo hall floor plan now!

4. Snacks!

There is nothing worse than when you plan to stop at the kiosks setup and there is no food left. Power up with bananas, fiber or protein bars, and other quick snacks to have hidden in your bag. Water too! Save yourself the hassle of waiting in line in the am before sessions trying to get a coffee or water.

5. Water. Lots of it.

NADA is a lot of walking, even if you don’t realize it. Stay hydrated- it will also help for after show activities.

6. Divide and conquer.

If you are traveling with a team, divide up the ideas, sessions and booths to get the most out of each day. If you are traveling alone, make sure you download all the presentation decks after the show to revisit anything you might not have remembered or were unable to attend.

7. Charge Up!

Find your vendor that has a booth and take a break there while charging up your devices. Don’t leave the hotel without a full charge as plugs are hard to come by, or get yourself one of those power banks so you can charge on the go!

8. Shoes.

Switch up your shoes each day to save your feet from all the walking on concrete and standing. Or grab a pair of those inserts.

9. Don’t miss out on NADA100 Carnival.

It will be an experience you don’t want to miss and Foreigner is performing!

10. Explore New Orleans.

All work and no play is no fun. There is so much history in this city, go experience it. Whether you're a ghost tour person, a foodie that must hit Cafe Du Monde for chicory coffee and beignets, or nightlife in the French Quarter. Head on over to Tripadvisor for the top things to do while visiting New Orleans. The churches are breathtaking, the music in the streets is riveting, and the parks are gorgeous.

Whatever your cup of tea is, New Orleans is not going to disappoint. The convention this year will be one to remember, follow these tips to get the most out of your experience. Enjoy the show!
