Google to Accelerate Mobile Pages

One of the fastest growing advertising landscapes is the mobile platform. So much time is spent receiving and reviewing content on mobile devices, and now is the time to make sure that your content stands out from the pack. The best way to stand out? Speed.

In 2016, Google will be launching a new project, called accelerated mobile pages, or AMP. AMP was first revealed by the company a few months ago, and it plans to have it fully in place by February of 2016. AMP will drastically improve the speed of your mobile pages. According to Google, 40% of users abandon a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load. In order to avoid getting left behind in the movement towards AMP, and losing customers in the process, begin getting your mobile content ready now.

AMP will allow for your page to instantly load when clicked on after a Google search. This will encourage more customers to not only view your mobile content, but browse more thoroughly when they are not frustrated by slow load times.
