Making Your Facebook Content Compelling
Most likely, your business is on Facebook. But are you using the site to its full potential? Over 45 million small businesses are already on the social media giant. In order to stand out, you’ll have to make sure that your Facebook content and delivery are ahead of the curve.
To that end, Facebook recently put on a workshop entitled “Boost Your Business”. The event was put on in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where 150 small business owners were given tips and tools on how to utilize their Facebook presence to its fullest potential. The event was run by Jeremy Lynch, the Community Engagement manager for the company. According to Lynch, “we have 132 million people access Facebook from their mobile phones each day.” With so many of your clients engaging with Facebook on their phones, it is crucial to have content for your customers to encounter while browsing on the go.
In order to make your content compelling, there are three main areas to focus on. First of all, you need to know your audience. You may want to target certain demographics for your dealership. In order to do so, you need to make sure your message is focused towards that target market.
You’ll also want to make sure to add something other than text to your posts to make them stand out. Posts with visuals will always do better than ones without. Before hitting that post button, make sure you have found a compelling image or video to pair with your post. Having visuals will make the post more likely to be clicked on, as well as shared if the customer thinks someone they know might also be interested.
Finally, you need to know if your efforts are paying off. Make sure that you measure your results. Once you know more about who is clicking on your site, when they are clicking, and what made them click, you can tailor more content to reach the maximum number of customers.
