Earlier this month, DOM360 joined more than 1,000 automotive professionals for the most progressive, information-packed event in retail automotive -- the CBT Automotive Conference and Expo in Atlanta. Check out the list below to catch up on some of the key takeaways from the event:

  1. Know What Your Consumers Are Asking: Micro-moments have been part of the conversation for quite some time now. They're small moments throughout every day when consumers turn to their devices to meet a need or answer a question. How do you leverage these moments? Your SEO strategy should include language that matches your customers' -- "How much should I pay for an oil change?" and "Where should I shop for a new car?"
  2. Make Sure You're Investing in Facebook Ads: At this point in the game, you've probably heard plenty about Facebook advertising. It offers a huge level of customization and targeting opportunities. Plus, it's constantly evolving. What does that mean for you? It would probably be wise for you to get in now before the cost goes up and it's no longer affordable.
  3. Consider the Millennial Mindset: Oftentimes, it may seem like Millennials operate on a completely different level from other types of employees. Because they have different values, it's important to make sure you're appealing to them just as much as other demographics when hiring. For example, Millennials value arrangements that provide convenience like flex time. Similarly, the ability to work remotely is a huge draw for younger workers. How are you adapting to the evolving workforce?

These are just a few areas that were touched on during the conference. Keep your eyes peeled for more information in the future!
