Have more to say? Check out Twitter’s latest character-saving update!
It’s a problem many have encountered, especially when using quotes: the dreaded 140-character limit of Twitter. The online social networking giant has addressed the issue at hand by revamping its “quote tweet” function.
Now, instead of adding quotation marks around the posting, providing you with limited space to add your own commentary, Twitter allows you to simply embed the post you’re quoting. This provides tweeters with more room to add remarks, without taking anything away from the context of the original material.
For automotive dealers and other retailers, this provides a great opportunity for companies to quote their constituents and still have room to answer questions, provide more information or simply join the conversation.
Currently, only iPhone and web users will be able to utilize this new feature, but it’s coming soon to Android.
